In December 2020, Maret Group, acquired licenced spectrum in the mmWave 5G bands covering the densely populated areas of the east coast of Australia. This licenced spectrum will enable Maret exclusive use of these bands to deliver high capacity internet links at speeds far in excess of typical NBN speeds without major investment in underground cabling.

Maret Group will begin deploying its fixed 5G network in 2022 to deliver up to 1Gbps speeds to business, enterprise, wholesale and residential customers.
